Landscape Art Exhibition opening at Bryce Gallery in Christchurch

It's time to VISIT BRYCE GALLERY at the corner of Riccarton Rd and Paeroa St in Christchurch because something special will be taking place from this Wednesday 19th August.

An art exhibition of exquisite Mackenzie Country landscape paintings by an invite-only selection of New Zealand artists will be taking place.

The show is called "Te Wai Pounamu", which is our beautiful and original Maori name for the South Island of Aotearoa.

The group of handpicked artists from around the country include Brian McCracken, Adele Souster, Don McAra, Janie Porter, John Gillies, Bill Moore, myself (Sofia Minson), Simon Williams and Adrienne Pavelka.

I will personally have two new large landscape works in the show, both measuring 2 metres x 1 metre.  I have kept these pieces top secret over the last few months as they've taken shape. They're both very different from each other so I can't wait to reveal them to our Christchurch audience and see what the reactions are!

Bryce Gallery is open 7 days.
10am – 5pm (Mon – Fri)
10am – 4pm (Sat)
11am – 4pm (Sun)

Address: Cnr Riccarton Road & Paeroa St, Riccarton, Christchurch, New Zealand.
