The story of All Whites 2010

This painting was commissioned for a huge global arts project called "2010 Fine Art" as part of the Fifa World Cup held in South Africa. Five artists from each qualifying country were asked to create an artwork, which expressed the celebration and pride they felt about their national soccer team participating in the enormously prestigious world cup. And even more significantly, their nation coming together with other cultures from around the world in the most ancient cradle of man - the land of Africa.

The artworks were commissioned by "2010 Fine Art" which is a South African consortium made up of investors, curators, galleries and artists, which acquired FIFA's worldwide Master Licensee, a global license to produce, market and distribute fine art as Official Licensed Products of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
